1. Introduction
This document sets out the general terms and conditions of the online booking service of SATAMA Hotel. "You" and "user" refer to any person or entity that uses this service.
Using the service implies full and unconditional acceptance of the latest version of these general terms and conditions, which are automatically incorporated into the contract concluded with SATAMA Hotel.
Online bookings are made through our booking engine, which you reach from any "Book now" button on this website.
2. Online booking
2.1 Purpose
The online booking service is used to reserve rooms at SATAMA Hotel.
2.2 Booking procedure
After booking, you will receive an email confirming that your request is being processed. Once the corresponding payment for your booking has been taken, you will receive a second email confirming it; this email serves as proof of your booking.
2.3 Guarantee
Bookings are confirmed and guaranteed with a credit card. In the event of a no-show without prior notice, the first night will be charged (including taxes and fees).
2.4 Cancellation
The credit card is only used as a guarantee. You may cancel free of charge before the specified deadline. After that deadline, SATAMA Hotel will charge a cancellation fee equal to the first night (including taxes and fees). This clause does not apply to bookings made at special rates, which follow their own conditions.
2.5 Check-in and check-out
- Check-in: 3:00 pm
- Check-out: 12:00 pm (noon)
2.6 Cancellation costs
No charge will be made to your credit card if you cancel more than 48 hours before the day of arrival (hotel local time). If you cancel within the 48 hours before arrival, 50% of the total cost of the booking will be charged. In the event of a no-show without prior notice, 100% of the total cost of the booking will be charged.
These clauses do not apply to bookings made at special rates, which follow their own conditions.
3. Minors
Guests under 18 must be accompanied by their parents, teachers or other duly authorized adults. Hotel staff may ask for documents identifying the accompanying adults.
4. Room rates
Prices are valid only in writing and for the period specified. SATAMA Hotel may change these prices without prior notice where there are justifiable reasons.
The price of your booking is shown during the booking process. Local taxes apply in accordance with the regulations in force in Haiti and must be paid directly at the hotel.
If the applicable rate changes between the date of booking and the date of the stay, the applicable price is the one in force at the time the services are provided or the tax becomes due, even if this increases the final price shown during booking.
5. Use of the service
You agree to use the service in accordance with the law, moral standards, good custom and public order, and with these terms. You must not use the service for unlawful purposes, against the rights and interests of third parties, or in any way that could damage the service, SATAMA Hotel or its image.
6. Changes to the service
SATAMA Hotel may change the service, its operating or technical conditions, or its conditions of use at any time and without prior notice. Suggestions to improve the service are welcome at info@satamahotel.com.
